Q. How high and/or close can I build to a boundary?

A. The residential building code covers this. The attached guide HERE is a useful reference. Other siting assessments include consideration for overshadowing, neighboring habitable windows and 'open space'.

Q. Do we use cheap imported steel for our building kits?

A. No, our chosen suppliers only use materials and components that meet or exceed to the relevant Australian standards.

Q.. $$$ How Much will a Garage or Shed Cost?

A. The costs of each building kit/project will vary, subject to the dimensions and features of the building you require. Our business is focussed on understanding each customers requirements, which enables us to custom quote your building kit & Project. From experience we know we have a competitive pricing structure for our heavy duty, structurally engineered buildings.

Q. How long does a garage project take?

A. All of our building kits are made to order, and have a production lead time of 15-20 work days from date of order.

So an Owner Builder/self install kit would be available to deliver to customer site in 4 weeks.

Where a full Project is provided by Gippsland Garages and Sheds (Planning & Building permit assessment and issue, concrete preparation & readiness), project timing will vary subject to specific site circumstances, and also the impact of inclement weather.

For example, recent projects have been completed from between 35-55 work days. Contact us to discuss your ideas. We will be able to estimate a project lead time based on your site conditions, & custom building requirements.
